In this episode titled, Discernment, I talk about how I ignored the quiet voice inside me because what should have felt like a warning, instead felt strangely familiar.
Growing up, I learned to live around uncertainty. To adapt, to make excuses, and that love could coexist with chaos.
This is part of my journey back to “Discernment”.
Learning to trust the voice inside me. Learning that compassion for someone’s struggle does not mean sacrificing myself to it.
God can gently reveal what we aren’t ready, or don’t yet know how to see.
Sometimes healing means recognizing what you learned to survive as a child doesn’t have to become what you accept as an adult.
Someone you love can continue to create chaos, and walking away to protect your peace is the path to loving yourself.
